Testimony of our client Nueva Atacama
MITTA'S VALUE OFFER ALLOWS US TO DEDICATE TO OUR BUSINESS
This is how Carlos Riveros, Deputy Manager of Administration of Nueva Atacama, explains it. The sanitation company that operates in the region is dedicated to the production and distribution of drinking water, collection and treatment of wastewater and its disposal.
How does MITTA support the development of the operation?
We as Nueva Atacama deliver a service of vital importance and essential for the community, which must be operational 24/7. As a consequence, we must maintain constant monitoring at the catchment points, in the case of Quebrada Puesta in Diego de Almagro, for example, we have to reach more than 3.000 meters of altitude. On the other hand, the territory is very extensive and drivers must be sure of having a reliable vehicle to travel a large number of kilometers. MITTA is in charge of that and its contribution has been crucial in order to meet our objectives.
“Our business is not fleet management, so leaving it in the hands of an industry expert allows us to dedicate ourselves to what we know how to do…”
What do you highlight about the service?
Without a doubt, the proactivity and the ability to react quickly to support us with contingencies and with the continuity of our operation. In addition, we have good communication, regular meetings where agreements are generated aimed at continuous improvement. On the other hand, MITTA helps us reinforce the care of the units through training, which is an important contribution to the safety of our collaborators and the communities where we are present. We feel accompanied...
How does it make it easier for the operation to hand over fleet management to an expert?
Years ago we were in charge of our fleet and it was a very complex process, which undoubtedly reduced our efficiency. Currently we have been with MITTA for 2 periods and we have verified its value offer: contributing to the operational continuity and safety of Nueva Atacama's collaborators.
Our business is not managing the fleet, so leaving it in the hands of an expert in the industry allows us to dedicate ourselves to what we know how to do: production and distribution of drinking water, collection and treatment of wastewater and its disposal, in the desert. driest in the world. We have MITTA and we hope, together with the team headed by Jorge Rivera, head of services at MITTA Copiapó, and Alejandro Rodríguez, contract coordinator at Copiapó, to continually improve the quality of our service.
